The "TSV Bayer 04 Talent and Speedcross" was held for the fifth time on the grass side field of the Fritz-Jacobi facility in Leverkusen. In addition to the selection races for the youth categories (up to U16), there was also a competition for the U18 age group and older. The varied course provided thrilling decisions for both the participants and the numerous spectators. The cross sprints for the U18 category were particularly exciting, where the format was changed due to the high number of participants to allow more athletes into the finals. The event was a great success and an excellent kickoff for the LVN Cross Cup.
Highlights
- The event was very well attended, with many talents from North Rhine-Westphalia competing against the best.
- In the youth categories, there were sometimes 50 to 60 competitors per age group at the start.
- There was beautiful weather, good catering, and excellent moderation, which made the event consistently positive.
